Product Description

Dell XPS 4-Pin PWM Variable Frequency Fan Tach Emulator Simulator

This PWM Fan Signal Simulator is designed for systems that require a valid fan‑speed (PWM) signal in order to boot or operate normally. Many modern desktops and mining rigs will enter BIOS safe‑mode or refuse to start if a fan header does not detect an active PWM signal, e.g. Dell XPS 8940. This device solves that problem instantly.

By generating a stable, accurate PWM fan signal, the simulator allows your system to run even when the original fans have been removed or replaced as part of a custom cooling modification. It is ideal for setups where fans are relocated, replaced with non‑PWM units, or eliminated entirely.

Built with high‑quality components, the simulator operates cool and reliably under continuous use. None of the surface‑mounted components heat up, ensuring long‑term stability. It is a simple, plug‑and‑play solution for any motherboard or device that requires a fan‑speed signal to function correctly.

It works for all miners with PWM 4-pin Fans. It is also suitable for any machines with standard 4-Pin PWM header.

RPM

  • Its chip artificially generates a 2200~6500 Fan RPM signal back to the board.

Voltage

  • It can work under 5~36V.

Unit

  • 1 unit = 1 piece

I hear this stuff is pretty good, came on the Lenovo Legion 7i pro with the i9 ultra and the 5090 think I might try it on my forehead to get better telepathy thermals.
